Helena Copsey

Helena is an arts manager and curator with several years’ experience working within health and social care. In her current role as Arts Manger at GOSH Arts, the arts programme at Great Ormond Street Hospital, she has supported the delivery of a range of site-specific art commissions for the Zayed Centre for Research into Rare Disease in Children. She is also responsible for the ongoing care and development of the Trust’s art collection and curates the Hospital’s temporary exhibition programme.

Prior to her role at GOSH Helena worked as the Loans and Engagement Manager at Paintings in Hospitals, managing the delivery of the charity's artwork loans and engagement activities nationally. She has an MA in Gallery Studies and Critical Curating and a BA in Visual Culture.

Helena is passionate about the positive impact that engagement in the arts can have and she is particularly interested in the dialogue between art and other disciplines.
