Nancy Wilson is a licensed architect who has worked in both Canada and the United States. An Associate and senior architect with Kasian, Nancy’s design background includes long-term care, senior living, affordable and special needs housing, clinics, and schools. She co-chairs Kasian’s Senior Living Sector and is leading the designs of both Long-Term Care and Retirement Residences. Nancy seeks out opportunities to understand and advocate for design for seniors and, in 2021, enrolled in the Certificate in Aging and Gerontology through Toronto Metropolitan University.
In collaboration with her colleagues on the Kasian Senior Living Environments Design Analysis Team, Nancy works to increase the depth and breadth of knowledge within the Team through research, case study analyses, and interviews with owners, developers, operators, caregivers, therapists, and academics in environmental gerontology. The Team’s findings inform her design work across Canada.
