Kelly Lefaivre

Dr. Kelly A Lefaivre is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Vancouver General Hospital and an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of British Columbia. She completed her MD and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of British Columbia, a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas, a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology at Harvard, and the Physician Leadership Program at the Sauder School of Business at UBC.

Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal trauma, minimally invasive treatment of Pelvic and Acetabular injuries, and post-traumatic reconstruction. Research interests include outcome measurement in Orthopaedic Trauma, and clinical surgical trials. She is the Orthopaedic Fellowship Program Director, and a committee member and chair in the Canadian Orthopaedic Association and the Orthopedic Trauma Association.

She is a Surgeon Lead in the VGH OR Renewal Project, which is a new OR and adjacent spaces build in existing infrastructure- including 16 universal ORs and adjacent spaces.
