Mark has been involved in healthcare projects for over twenty years and has developed an expertise in design for mental health. His experience covers all acuities and sub sectors within inpatient mental healthcare as well as outpatient facilities through design of health and wellbeing centres.
Mark has developed an approach to mental health design which enables and supports daily living patterns for a range of service users. This includes most recently the Tier 4 CAMHs unit in Bodmin, for the Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, the Camden and Islington new inpatient facility which includes older adult, adult acute and rehabilitation wards, and the Limes and Jubilee older adult unit for West London NHS Trust.
Mark is interested in design concepts that can improve the recovery pathway for different service user needs in a safe and secure environment.
