Zdravko Trivic

Dr Zdravko Trivic is Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture, School of Design and Environment (SDE), National University of Singapore (NUS) and works closely with CARE (Centre for Ageing Research in the Environment) and CSAC (Centre for Sustainable Asian Cities), NUS. His research interests include: multi-sensorial urbanism, health-supportive and ageing-friendly design, arts, public space and community participation. His recent research projects include: “Multi-sensory Approach to Ageing-friendly Design” (2017-2019), “Designing Future-ready and Sustainable Nursing Homes” (2017-2020), “Pedestrian Comfort in High Pedestrian Activity Areas” (2017-2019), and “Arts and Culture Nodes in the Heartlands of Singapore” (2016-2018). Dr Trivic authored and co-authored several publications, including a book RE-FRAMING URBAN SPACE: Urban Design for Emerging Hybrid and High-Density Conditions (Routledge, 2016; with I.S. Cho & C.K. Heng). He received two outstanding paper awards at the UIA 2017 Seoul World Architects Congress. He is also a WELL Concept Advisor for IWBI, New York, USA.
